Hi, I went to Quartzsite this weekend. It was so fun. Quartzsite is a place where you can buy rocks. I got all kinds of rocks! This was so fun, there fossils too. One of the best parts were the food, they had some really good meat! I got some quartz, fossils, and some other stuff. I also went to another place and collected some agate and geode. I know it’s a small fish, but it was fun catching it anyway. Thanks for giving us a good time at Catalina Island Uncle Chad!!!

I was just at Catalina Island. I stayed at a place called Cherry Cove. It’s by Isthmus harbor.

I slept on my grandpa Chuck’s boat. It’s called Charlie Tuna.

We caught plenty of fish there with my uncle Chad, my brother Dylan and my cousin Charles. If was great fun.

At the beach we found a TON of hermit crabs!

Hello I’m going to tell you about Catalina. Catalina is a really big island that sits about 22 miles from the beach by my house in the ocean. It’s a very fun place that I just visited for new years.

I got to Catalina on a boat called the Catalina Express. it only took about an hour and a half on the way over I l liked to talk to my grandma and grandpa and then I went to watch the waves with my dad.The waves were very big they almost knocked me over.

I stayed in a really nice condo at a place called Hamilton Cove. It had two bathrooms and three bedrooms each with two beds. The condo even came with a ocean view and a golf cart! The golf cart had six seats, was pretty fast for a golfcart and it was white. A really cool thing about Catalina is that most people use golfcarts to drive around instead of cars! So it was fun to drive around town like that.

Catalina has 2 main cities. I stayed near the city called Avalon. There’s lots of really fun stuff to do in Avalon like take a Submarine to see the bottom of the ocean. There’s also a lot of shops, restaurants and even a Casino. I liked some of the gift shops because they have shells, shark teeth and other cool stuff. I ate dinner in a place called Antonio’s. They had great food. We walked on the Avalon green pier a lot. My brother Dylan and I liked chasing the birds and feeding the fish there.

There are lots of other animals at Catalina. There are buffalo, Eagles and other neat wild animals. I even saw a wild dear and a pack of wild cats! We bought kitty snacks at the Avalon market and it was fun feeding all the wild cats.

I’ve gone to Catalina many times. Every time it’s a lot of fun. I’ve also gone to Two harbors and Cherry Cove with my Grandpa and Grandma on their boat. That is always a lot of fun and I like spending time with them, but I think I like Avalon the best. Well that’s all I’ve got to say about Catalina for now. See ya next time!
